Age: Implied 15; he looks very much like Roxas, so it’s implied he’s the same age as him.

Personality:  
Much like Sora, Ventus (goes by Ven) is cheerful, sweet and silly. He’s very keen on making friends on his own and even meeting new people, especially when he is told to just go home. After Terra and Aqua repeatedly tell him to go home, Ven is determined to make new friends and find out more about himself, while helping others.

With his need to help everyone, Ven is different than Sora. He is able to recognize the gravity of the situations with the X-blade in canon and figure out what the best scenario is, even if that means he has to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He is quick to deduce what he needs to do and helps the best he can. However, Ven isn’t completely serious. He actually loves to have fun! While making friends on his own, he actually helps Peter Pan with a Treasure hunt and the people of Disney Town with their events.

Ven is also very caring. Every person he meets, he cares for. A great example is when he goes to the Dwarf Woodlands; the dwarves think he’s a jewel thief and he tries to convince them otherwise. Once successful, Ven makes friends with the dwarves. Though he loves to make friends, Aqua and Terra are the most important to him. Not only does he want to live up to their expectations, but he also wants to make sure there are safe and that things end up, well, “okay”. He only wants their happiness, which is why he wants them to end his life to ensure that the Keyblade War doesn’t start again, which is part of the last moments of the game.

That doesn’t mean Ven is perfect. No, Ven does have a bit of a stubborn streak. Though it’s not as large as Sora’s, he does find a bit of defiance when someone is telling him he shouldn’t do something. Additionally, he wants to prove himself, so that leads him to be a little bit impulsive when trying to show what he can do. Though it’s not always a problem with Ven, he usually keeps a pretty clear head. He just doesn’t like to be told “you can’t” or “go home”.

It’s often by his friends that he’s told that he needs to stay behind, which is part of the reason why he wants to prove himself. That being said, Ven has some confidence issues at first because of how he views his friends. Though not necessarily a bad thing, he does have some self-consciousness about his abilities and how he does need to be stronger, but his stubborn streak allows him to blow past it after he considers his feelings. Ven sometimes places himself in the position that is a few steps behind Aqua and Terra, given how he views them and also how he feels about his own abilities. However, he does attempt, within canon, to push himself forward to stand equal to them. 

From his canon point, Ven has just become part of Sora’s heart. He has done this to ensure the safety of his friends but also rebuild his heart. That being said, he destroyed the X-blade and Vanitas, which is why his heart was damaged and fled to Sora. His body is currently in the bottom of the abandoned Castle Oblivion, which used to be the castle of the Land of Departure.

Overall, however, Ven is very kind, caring and fun to be around. He has a bright, positive spirit, but unlike Sora, he is very willing to take situations seriously and face them head on. He isn’t afraid to make hard decisions and quickly, which shows a maturity that isn’t shown often with the younger counterpart (Sora).

 Abilities: As a Keyblade wielder, Ven leans more towards hitting light but moving quickly. His Keyblade itself is actually smaller to allow him to hold it backhanded, which allows him to move in close to his enemies. As for the magic he uses, he primarily relies on wind magic, as well as something called “Faith”. He is able to take pillars of light and spin them around to attack enemies in a wide range.

 Other then that, Ven is pretty quick on his feet, unlike Terra, who is slower, but stronger. It’s evident that he relies on that in battle to assist himself in victory.

Why?: Ven would benefit from being a God because he is able to really be empathetic to the problems of others, but he also could learn a lot from being the one in a leadership role. It would be outstanding to see him really blossom into a good leader within this setting.

God Type: Ven would be a pretty benevolent god, given he’s so genuinely wants to help others in the game. However, Ven would not just consistently just “do good”. He would also recognize that some sacrifices have to be made for the good of everyone, which means that the requests he takes may end up being the harder decisions. That being said, he will attempt to be as fair and gentle as possible, as a god!
